LLama

July 12, 2010

We have a llama who’s name is Tango and I think I want to keep him that way.

Also, our farm name may be becoming Bourbon Wood. These two words evolved during the banter of last Friday’s celebration of Dee’s birthday. Thoughts?

Also, been considering raising heritage chickens to slaughter. Not for ourselves, but for folks out there who are really into eating chicken and are looking for ways to get more connected to food, eat real food. This idea is in its infancy and will require lots of research.

In cheese news, last week I made several batches of Chevre that turned out nicely. A recent batch I added basil, little bit of mint and rosemary, salt and pepper, and ran it through the food processor. Tasty!

I think we forgot to mention that Ben visited us a few weeks back and took some nice pics:

last night we also had a few more visitors (Sashay and Donny up from Sacramento with their puppy) and we had some good food and conversation. They dig the llama.

Dee’ll chime in shortly about her new birdies. šŸ˜‰

Yahoo!

oh, and here’s a pic of tango!
